Dr. Steven J McNeal is a Chiropractic Specialist in New Enterprise, Pa. 16664. He graduated with honors from Life Chiropractic College in 1990. Having more than 28 years of diverse experiences, especially in CHIROPRACTIC. The brain and spine comprise the central nervous system (CNS). Their main function is the distribution of elan vitale, or vital force, throughout the body. We all have a “doctor within” that allows us to heal us, such as when we get a cut, and it is the nerves that deliver this energy to and from the injury as it heals. A chiropractor finds and corrects subluxations. A subluxation is a malposition of vertebrae that’s not quite a dislocation, resulting in pinching, pulling or twisting nerves as they enter and exit the spine. This results in decreased function and/or symptoms such as pain, tingling, or numbness. PERFORMANCE CHIROPRACTIC *If the nervous system does indeed control the body, wouldn’t it make sense to check it to make sure that was actually happening? *During your adjustment, you will notice Dr. McNeal testing the muscles around your pains or injuries, making corrections, then retesting to make sure function is restored. Result: performance is upgraded while pain is downgraded.
